These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of VoteMountain.com (the “Site”), operated by Friends of James Mountain (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1) Purpose of the Site
The Site provides information about James Mountain and campaign-related activities, and may offer ways to sign up for updates, volunteer, donate, or contact the campaign.
2) Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Site for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, or systems.
Interfere with the Site’s operation (including introducing malware, scraping, or denial-of-service activity)

You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your submission to operate campaign activities (for example, responding to messages or improving the Site). We are not obligated to post or retain any submission.
5) Mail & Text Communications
If you sign up for updates, you consent to receive campaign communications (such as emails and/or texts) at the information you provide. Message and data rates may apply (for texts). You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or the opt-out instructions provided for texts.
6) Donations
Donations are intended to support campaign activities and are tax-deductible.
Donations may be processed through a third-party payment provider; their terms and privacy practices may apply.
We may be required by law to collect contributor information (such as name, address, and other details) and to verify eligibility.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund a contribution to comply with applicable law or to correct errors.
Refunds: If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at mountain@votemountain.com within 10 days of the transaction. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be limited by payment processor rules and legal requirements.
7) Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Links do not imply endorsement.
